Bring Front Lounge Learning
Into Your School

Empowering students through creativity, confidence, and real-world skills.

At Front Lounge, we believe education should be inclusive, inspiring, and rooted in lived experience.

Our accredited courses — Kindred Clothing Award (SCQF Level 5) and NC in Creative Industries (SCQF Level 6) — are designed to meet learners where they are and help them discover what they’re capable of through competence based learning.

By partnering with schools, we offer a unique opportunity to engage students who may not thrive in traditional classroom settings, while enriching your curriculum with hands-on, values-led learning.

Why Front Lounge?

Our programmes are particularly impactful for students who are:

  • Neurodivergent or care-experienced
  • Struggling with attendance, confidence, or motivation
  • Creative thinkers who benefit from practical, project-based learning
  • Looking for alternative pathways into further education or employment

These learners often have untapped potential. Our approach helps them reconnect with learning, build trust, and develop transferable skills that last a lifetime.

Outcomes That Matter

Students leave our programmes with:

  • A recognised qualification (SCQF Level 5 or 6)
  • A portfolio of creative work they’re proud of
  • Improved confidence, communication, and emotional wellbeing
  • Stronger routines, motivation, and sense of purpose
  • Clearer pathways into college, apprenticeships, or creative industries

Course Delivery and Assessment

Front Lounge courses can be delivered in partnership with your school. We provide qualified assessors and creative facilitators required to deliver the course. All necessary materials would be a combination of school resources and Front Lounge supplies. Sessions are flexible and paced to suit your learners’ needs—whether that’s weekly blocks, intensive sessions, or integrated timetables.

Our continuous formative assessment is portfolio-based and aligned with SCQF standards. Learners are supported throughout the process, with regular feedback, mentoring, and opportunities to reflect on their progress. Our team works closely with school staff to ensure alignment with wider learning goals and pastoral support.
