Discover Learning
That Fits Real Life

At Front Lounge, we believe learning should be accessible, creative, and rooted in real life. Whether you’re a parent exploring opportunities for your child, or someone looking to re-engage with education yourself, our learning centre offers a welcoming space where growth is nurtured, and potential is celebrated.

We understand that traditional education doesn’t work for everyone. That’s why our approach is different. We offer accredited courses and personal development projects designed to meet learners where they are—emotionally, practically, and creatively.

Our Current Programmes

Kindred Clothing Award (SCQF Level 5)

This hands-on course teaches garment production and fashion design, while building confidence, creativity, and transferable skills. Learners work at their own pace, supported by qualified assessors, and leave with a recognised qualification and a portfolio of work they’re proud of.

NC in Creative Industries (SCQF Level 6)

This follow-on course is designed for learners who have completed the Kindred Clothing Award and want to deepen their skills. It offers a more technical and industry-focused experience, including advanced garment construction, portfolio development, and real-world insights into fashion and textiles. Learners gain practical knowledge while building connections to creative industries.

A Safe and Supportive Environment

Our learning centre is designed to be inclusive and nurturing. We work with children, teenagers, and adults from all backgrounds, including those who may have struggled in traditional education settings. Many of our learners are care-experienced, neurodivergent, or simply looking for a fresh start. Everyone is welcome.

We prioritise emotional wellbeing and relationship-building. Learners are supported by trained staff and mentors who understand the importance of trust, consistency, and compassion. We also work closely with families to ensure that learning fits into everyday life—not the other way around.

Looking Ahead

As Front Lounge continues to grow, so will our course offerings. We’re developing new programmes that respond to the needs of our community—whether that’s digital skills, leadership development, or more creative pathways. Our goal is to build a learning centre that reflects the diversity, resilience, and brilliance of the people we serve.

If you’re considering enrolling your child, or yourself, we’d love to hear from you. Come visit, ask questions, and see what learning can look like when it’s built around people, not systems.

Life is big. Be all you can be.
